Baton 010
Minoh Beer was founded in 1996 by Masaji Oshita who was at the time the owner of a liquor shop in Osaka. He wanted more interesting beer varieties in Japan and after the brewing laws changed in 1994, he was able to establish a small craft beer brewery of his own. He chose the city of Minoh in north-western Osaka, famous for its national parks and wild monkeys.
This Pilsner has been matured slowly in a Foeder for approximately 12 months. It offers delicate woody notes from the oak, harmonised with a complex, layered aroma created by wild yeast native to the Foeder. Pleasant tannins and the light, crisp malt character typical of a Pilsner intertwine, allowing a soft yet deep umami to unfold gently on the palate. While rustic at its core, this brew offers a quiet, multi-layered experience that reveals its depth over time.
